Ben
Software engineer & creator of DBT Pal
Ben is a software engineer who built DBT Pal to help people practice DBT skills between therapy sessions. The app grew out of a simple observation: paper diary cards are easy to skip, and the gap between weekly sessions is where most of the real work happens.
DBT Pal is designed around how DBT actually works — structured tracking, skill practice, and pattern recognition — packed into entries that take 30 seconds instead of 10 minutes.
DBT Pal is not a substitute for therapy or professional mental health treatment. It is a tracking and practice tool. If you are in crisis, please contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988) or the Crisis Text Line (text HOME to 741741).
The content on this site is for informational purposes only. It is written to help people understand and practice DBT skills, not to provide clinical advice or diagnosis.
